We did a loop hike on the red trail - taking the yellow side trail to the ladder falls at the Thruway end and another yellow trail down to the second falls. It was about a three hour hike.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Howie and I went on short hike today with a friend and their dog in Plotterkill Preserve near Rotterdam. It had just stopped snowing (about an inch of new snow). So all the branches were covered with snow. The creek was partially frozen over which made the falls prettier. Though, it's hard to photograph the three main waterfalls.
