Howie is famous

Howie and I hiked Basin and Saddleback mountains in the Adirondack high peaks. It was a strenuous hike with some steep climbs. A group that we passed recognized us from our hike a few weeks ago up Cliff and Redfield (mainly because of Howie). They were doing the same hike as well (what a coincidence!). We had a sunny day with blue skies for this trek which took us a little under 10 hours.

Summit Elevation: Basin 4824 ft, Saddleback 4526 ft
Round-trip Distance: 16.5 mi
Elevation Change: 4000 ft
