Howie Day
Howie had a good day. In the morning, he went to his beagle meetup ... running around, sniffing, wrestling with his fellow hounds. This afternoon, I took him to Grafton Lakes state park. We hiked up to the fire tower (Howie stayed on terra firma) and then took the trail around Long Pond. Walked about 4-5 miles altogether.

Where did you park to hike to the tower?
On long pond road near the junction with fire tower road
Did you just follow the road? or have they put in a trail?
There is no foot trail. I followed the road. The driveway leading to the tower is on Fire Tower Road, just before the last house, on south side.
