This evening, Howie and I did a hike up Overlook mountain in the Catskills. We watched the sun set, and then waited for the moon to rise. Hiked down the road in the dark. Didn't need to use my flash light as the full moon provided enough light.
Summit Elevation: 3150 ft
Round-trip Distance: 5.2 mi
Elevation Change: 1400 ft
Red moon rising

An evening hike! Very cool. Did you see any wildlife?
We saw a deer about 20 yards off the trail. Was frozen in its tracks.
