This is the saddest blog post. I had to put Howie down today. He was quickly deteriorating due to liver problems. Howie was a shelter dog and I have had him for over 10 years. This is a difficult loss for me.
I will always remember him as the happy little hiking hound.
You have great memories and pictures of a wonderful hiking buddy. Willie has had many good hikes thanks to you and Howie. I am sure he had a very happy life. Debbie and Willie

Nice that he got a beagle meetup, some chipmunk hunting and many hikes in during his last few weeks. You're a good owner and he was a good dog. -Anne
