Went for hike near Lake George this afternoon. Climbed Black mountain. Unfortunately, the battery in my camera was dead ... so no pictures. I guess leaving it in the "on" position will do that. From the parking area on Pike Brook Road, took the jeep trail up the east side of the mountain. The windmill/turbine on the summit was making quite a ruckus on this breezy day - sounded like a small helicopter. Took a quick break and then descended the south trail to Black mountain ponds, and then looped back to the main trail. Real nice day for hiking ... cool, sunny and the breezes kept the bugs away.

Elevation Change: 1200 ft
